T800 carbon at 157 g per pole — and a design built to save up to 30% of your effort.
Designed for Lighter Trail Days
Weight on a pole is weight you lift with every single step — a few thousand times an hour. At 157 g per pole, TrailGlide™ cuts that cost almost in half compared with an aluminium pole, which is exactly why the design is rated for up to 30% energy saving across a day's walking.
The three-section telescoping shaft extends for a comfortable walking setup and shortens for transport, and high-strength metal external locks hold the length once you have set it. Tungsten-steel tips take the contact with rock and grit far better than a standard steel tip.
The ORINOVAE Difference
- 157 g per pole. T800 carbon — one of the lightest ways to put support in your hands.
- Up to 30% energy saving. The pole system is designed to distribute effort and reduce the load on your legs over a full day.
- Three-section telescoping shaft. Shortens for the journey, extends for the walk.
- Tungsten-steel tips. Hard-wearing ground contact on rock, gravel and hard-packed trail.
Key Features
- ✓ T800 carbon-fibre shafts — high stiffness at very low weight.
- ✓ Only approx. 157 g (5.5 oz) per pole, so the pair barely registers in your hands or your pack.
- ✓ Designed for up to 30% energy saving across walking and trekking.
- ✓ Three-section telescoping shaft with high-strength metal external locks.
- ✓ Tungsten-steel ground-contact tips for durable bite on hard trail surfaces.
- ✓ Load-bearing and stabilising support — two extra contact points on uneven or changing ground.
- ✓ Two height configurations — Up to 170 cm or Up to 190 cm, depending on colour.
Perfect For
Recreational walking, hiking and long trail days. Travel and hut-to-hut routes where pack weight matters. Steep descents and rough ground where an extra contact point is the difference between a stumble and a steady step. Anyone replacing a heavy aluminium pair.
Variants & Included
Choose Slate Black, Shell White, Lake Green or Purple in either the Up to 170 cm or Up to 190 cm user-height configuration. Starlight Pink is available in the Up to 170 cm configuration.
Every variant includes one matched pair — two TrailGlide™ telescoping poles — with handles, wrist straps, high-strength metal locks, baskets and tungsten-steel tips.
Collapsed length, grip material and any tip protectors or storage pouch vary by configuration and are shown on the SKU image for the variant you select.

Care & Use
Wipe the handles, straps, shafts, locks, baskets and tips with a soft damp cloth after each outing. Extend the sections and leave them apart so trapped moisture and grit can escape, then let everything dry fully before you collapse the poles for storage. Keep the locking surfaces clean so they hold their grip.
Extend each shaft only within its marked adjustment range and check the locks are secure before you put weight on the poles.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does each variant include two poles?
Yes — every TrailGlide™ configuration is a matched pair of two telescoping trekking poles.
How much does each pole weigh?
Approximately 157 g (5.5 oz) per pole, making the pair one of the lightest setups you can carry for walking, hiking and travel.
What does the 30% energy-saving design mean?
The pole system is designed to reduce effort by up to 30% during walking and trekking — it adds lightweight support and helps distribute load through your arms rather than concentrating it on your legs, which matters most on long days and steep descents.
170 cm or 190 cm?
Choose the configuration that covers your height, then adjust both poles evenly so the handles sit comfortably for your posture and the terrain. Flatter ground usually wants a slightly longer pole; steep climbs want a slightly shorter one.
